About Verses

Verses is a curated digital home for poetry — sher, shayari, and verse in Hindi, Urdu, and English. It is a quiet, minimalist space where a single poem can be read the way it was meant to be: one at a time, without the noise of feeds, likes, or endless scrolling for its own sake.

We built Verses for two kinds of people. For readers, it is a place to discover a couplet that stays with you and to share it as a page of its own. For poets, it is a place to publish under your own name and page — your work presented with care, typography that respects the script, and nothing competing for attention beside it.

Your work stays yours, and it stays safe. Save a draft, or keep a finished poem private — stored to your account and visible only to you — or publish it to the world when you’re ready. Nothing lives only on your device: write on Verses and your poetry is in the cloud, reachable from anywhere.

Every poem on Verses is written by the poet credited on it. We do not auto-generate content or republish others’ work; each piece belongs to its author, who grants us only the right to display it. Our aim is simple — to put the written word first, and to treat each verse as something worth keeping.
